'The Shining Hour' at The BUg

New Farm Bowls Club, Brisbane

Hitch your wagon to a star with Brisbane country-folk and bluegrass ensemble 'The Shining Hour'. Performing a crafted selection of covers and originals, the band feature the powerhouse vocals of Nadia Sunde, driving banjo of Paul Henderson and soulful mandolin of Innes Campbell. All three also play guitar…just not all at once.

Professor Frankie's Harry Potter Event

Muggles and wizards are invited to join Professor Frankie Falconette as she brings to life the characters, creatures and adventures from the favourite magical series. It will be fun for dedicated fans and newcomers alike. You're encouraged to bring your own books for the Professor to stamp with her special seal, and to dress in Harry Potter costume (but no invisibility cloaks please - it's just easier that way).
