* Shake It Down - announced as a finalist in the Children's Category of the 2011 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) - winners announced in early May! * Mango Tree - semi-finalist in 2010 ISC. * The Goat and The Goose - awarded 3rd place in the 2009 ISC. Our new musical comedy theatre show, Nadia & The Blue Flamingo, made it's debut at the Melbourne Recital Centre's MusicPlay Festival in January this year. We sold out our debut performance!!! I got sooooooo excited that I stuck a pair of undies on my head and danced around a lot...you don't believe me?... Check out the youtube clip on our 'Musical Theatre' page. We're also thrilled to announce that Nadia & The Blue Flamingo has been included in the 2013 Queensland Touring Showcase and plans are underway for a book and CD to accompany the show! Our biggest love, hugs and kisses to Arts Queensland and RADF for their support with the flamingo's development - you guys are awesome! More adventures underway...stay tuned for updates...xo |
