“Your music so eloquently captures the emotions of our day and stimulates our children’s imagination. It helps clear my head and brightens my day. “The Goat and The Goose” is always welcomed with squeals of delight, and has soothed away many traumas and tears. Sometimes even mine! Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

REAL MUSIC FOR KIDS AND GROWN UPS Nadia Sunde’s album HOMESPUN awarded in the International Songwriting Competition!
Nadia Sunde is being hailed as a ‘breath of fresh air’ in the emerging Australian kindie indie scene. As a solo performer, or with her band ‘The Swing Set’, Nadia plays real music for kids and grown-ups who want to enjoy something a little more rootsy and organic.
Singer/songwriter, early childhood music educator, published children’s author, ABC radio presenter and mother of two, Nadia recently released Homespun, produced and recorded by virtuoso guitarist Michael Fix. Homespun appeals to people of all ages, featuring a collection of songs that are ‘fun, blue-grassy, folk-inspired, toe-tapping and joyful!’ (Mumatopia)
The first track, ‘The Goat and The Goose’, was awarded 3rd place in the children’s category of the 2009 International Songwriting Competition. Her song ‘Mango Tree’ was a semi-finalist in this years competition.
“It’s my intention to craft songs that bring a heartfelt sense of connection to people of all ages. Whether it’s dancing in the kitchen to a rockabilly song about Red Rattler trains or making a rainy day nest of blankets, I love the thought that families and friends are listening and enjoying this album together.”
Nadia’s songwriting is intelligent and soulful, her voice is deliciously warm and resonant, the melodies are infectious and as a performer she is quite simply…captivating!
